  1. Thoroughbred – This is best known in the racing world originated from England. They are used for hunting. A bred with a heart. Have a lot of characteristics that suitable for racing, they are also used on some equestrian sports like show jumping, rodeo and Polo. It has long legs, its body is lean, deep chest and its neck is long. Thoroughbred horses that are winning are often sealed for breeding purposes or being sold if they are not racing anymore.   2. Standard breeds – They are well known for harness racing because of their powerful shoulders and hindquarters. They have longer body and more masculine. They are bred that is people oriented and can easily be trained. Aside from racing they are also employed for horse shows. Trail riding and pleasure riding.
  3. The Arabian Breed- known to be the oldest breed, they are used during war. They can survive for a long distance trek. They are strong and have the speed that is good for racing. Its features makes them distinguish there bred they have a wedge shape, wide forehead, the eyes and nostrils are large and their muzzle is small, they are black, grey in colour. They are also used by Equestrians sports like in show jumping.
  4. Rocky Mountain Horse – Coldblooded horse originated from the United States. It is dark brown and dark chestnut in color. Known for being a multi talented horse.
